Last week I had the opportunity to visit Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This was my first visit to this city and vacation resort located on South Carolina’s Atlantic Coast. It is the hub of the Grand Strand, a 60-mile string of beaches. This area is also known for its golf courses, stunning sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean, fun days at the beach, and great places to eat.
Of course, while I was there, I just had to check out some real estate. Several of my friends have recently relocated to Myrtle Beach and are very happy with their decision to move South and settle in this area. I wanted to see for myself what this area had to offer, not just the benefits of a warmer climate and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean waves, but what options may be available for clients who may wish to call this area home – and, okay maybe for myself, as well!
We had the pleasure of meeting with local real estate agent, Sylvia Simpson of Watermark Real Estate Group. She was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable of the real estate market and area. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to relocate to the Myrtle Beach, SC or surrounding areas.
Sylvia shared a good part of her day with us and showed us several properties. By the end of the day, I felt like I was on one of those HGTV shows, and I had to pick just one of the beautiful places we visited. It would have been hard to do! Each one had their own special features – including beautiful ocean views, spacious units – some up to 3,000 square feet of living space, amenities galore, and beautiful grounds.
