This was a first-floor unit in the Windsor Condominiums located in Perry Hall. This entire condo recently received a fresh coat of paint and new flooring and was the perfect blank canvas to create the look and feel of a new, welcoming home. The owner had not had a chance to remove the piano from the dining room so that inspired me to create a relaxing, music themed room. I had fun refinishing a few of the accent pieces for this home. The guitar and violin hanging above the piano were old discarded wooden pieces that I found at Goodwill. I freshened them up with a little black paint and added a touch of gray streaking. Perfect for holding harmonicas in the music room! Also found across the piano and bin are classical music sheets and albums that I found rummaging through stacks of music and albums at a local antique shop. The other piece I finished is located in the owner’s suite. The folding screen was a cool piece that we found left in a basement of a previously purchased house. I painted it white and sanded sections for a distressed look. We successfully handled the staging and sale of this condo for our client who lived out of state. He trusted us and we delivered – selling the condo within eight days of being on the market.
