I love having a clean, neutral base when I begin to think about how to stage a home.  This home was painted in the color “cream and coffee” so I felt it was only appropriate to decorate this charming home with warm and inviting colors.  Since the walls give off an earthy tan vibe, I looked to nature for my color inspirations.  A variety of greens, along with varying shades of brown, yellow, and orange worked well in the staging of this home. The pictures and pillows helped to tie together this color scheme.

In the bedroom, I mixed the tan walls with tan and black. The black headboard, framed pictures, and tables created a striking contrast against the tan walls with a neutral colored bedspread and black pillows and throw for a statement.

For the kitchen, I added accent pieces in black, brown, orange and white.  These colors were found in the backsplash and complimented the tan walls and tiled floor.  I kept the darker pieces from overwhelming the room with small statement pieces of orange to balance out the black and brown.  And, on yes, I needed to add the basket of Macintosh applies, after all, this home is located on Macintosh Circle!!!

The back yard had a brick patio so I added a little bistro set which helped to create the feel of how this space can be used to relax with a cup of coffee or give ideas on entertaining with family and friends.  The picture of the opened French doors in the kitchen shows how inviting this space is.

This home had multiple offers and was under contract within 5 days at full asking price with a small seller contribution.
