This bright and open floor plan made staging this home a breeze. I added the bright orange flowered picture because it reminded me of spring time. This home was staged in March 2018, and I think we were ready to welcome the sun and warmth that spring can bring. Check out the coffee table in the living room. This was a piece of furniture that I found at a Goodwill Thrift Store that was in need of a little love. Our painter, Andy, did a great job in bringing some life back to this piece. The legs and side drops were painted black, the insert was painted brown, and the hinges were given a good shine. I completed the look by arranging a little tea party – again, all pieces from Goodwill. The dining room centerpiece is a piece that I actually made while visiting my daughter in South Carolina. We attended a workshop where I sanded, stained, stenciled and assembled the “Friends and Family Gather Here” box. For the owner’s suite I wanted to keep the existing black and white window treatments. From there, I found pieces that continued that theme creating a simple yet eloquent look.
