The Town Fair
Perry Hall, MD
June 26,2021
We participated in the Perry Hall White Marsh Business Association’s Town Fair! We recently became members of the association and were excited to be part of this event.
Preparing for the fair kicked my mind in full gear. I mean, in addition to talking about our noteworthy real estate services, I also wanted to promote the staging side of the company. So of course, I started planning what I would bring: maybe a whole living room display. Then reality set in. The tent was only 10 x 10 and I needed to allow space for a 6 feet table and other props. So, I settled for a chair, table, lamp and a few accent pieces.
The week before the fair I was busy buying a tent, ordering banners, creating and printing brochures, ordering t-shirts, and buying prizes for our raffles. We had four prizes to raffle off: 1.) a cute tray, beads and a $25 gift certificate from Carlyn Smith Creations located on Belair Road in Nottingham. It is one of my favorite spots to shop, both for me and the business. 2.) a Yeti Rambler Colster Can Insulator, beef jerky, and a $25 gift certificate to use at ACE Hardware. 3.) a hula hoop, frisbees, outdoor glow game (ring toss), and a Tie-Dye Shirt kit, and a $25 gift card to Amazon – you needed to work for this one – the winner was the person who guessed closest to the number of stones in the glass vase.
The morning started out with a little rain but thank goodness it cleared up and lots of people came out at had fun! I know I sure did have a lot of fun talking and meeting so many people.
