Casa Bella Realty’s main focus is helping our clients buy and sell their homes. And we thoroughly enjoy that aspect of the business. But we offer more – we are also a design and staging company. By now, you are probably familiar with our staging services.
But you may not know that we also rehab homes. One of our first projects was a home on Eastern Parkway. See the before and after pictures under our Design and Staging tab.
Currently, we are working on renovating three homes.
One is located in Rosedale, Maryland. It is actually my childhood home so this one is bittersweet. The house has good bones and my dad had taken good care of it. I am basically updating a few things inside: painting, new flooring and carpet. Just as my dad took pride in his home for over 60 years, I am continuing his efforts. Before selling this home, I will be replacing the roof, the HVAC, hot water heater, attic insulation, some windows and doors.
Another property is located in Parkville. We had a little bit of a hold up waiting for Baltimore County to issue the Building Permit, but it FINALLY was issued – after 6 weeks!! The crew is ready to tackle the interior of this home. We will be removing a wall, totally redoing the kitchen and dining room. The living room will receive a fresh coat of paint and the fireplace will receive a facelift. All bedrooms will be painted and new lighting installed. Both bathrooms will be totally redone. We will be adding several useable spaces in the lower level. The HVAC and hot water heater will be replaced.
The third property is in Overlea. This one is gonna challenge me (and the contractors) but it will be exciting! We just met with the architectural engineer to see about raising the roof to make use of the upstairs area. If this is possible and feasible, I can hardly wait to get started. I have some really cool ideas for that area. The first floor will get a complete makeover. Being an older home, all rooms are spacious. We will keep the kitchen as a separate room and create a family-friendly gathering spot. The dining room features a bay window and a built in china closet. The living room has a side door which leads to a wrap around porch! I can’t wait to see the final outcome of this home.
