The simple answer is that it works.  The real estate market can change, but the one constant is that people want to sell their home quickly and for the best price.   Combining the knowledge of a real estate agent with those of a home stager can help sellers reach that goal.  In many ways, the two business truly do go hand-in-hand.

There are many good real estate sales agents with whom you can do business. There are also many good home stagers who will come into your home and provide their services.  But keep in mind, that often this involves either the sales agent or the home seller needing to find and pay for this additional service.  Even when home sellers realize the advantage of having their home stage, they are less likely to absorb this added expense.

Casa Bella Realty includes the cost of home design and staging in their services.  There are no additional costs to you.  That is the advantage of working with Casa Bella Realty – we provide home buying, home selling, design and staging all within the one business.  It is the perfect blend.  We can provide both professional real estate services and beautifully staging your home.

Casa Bella Realty will advise their clients on how to improve the appearance of the home they are selling so that it is most inviting to buyers.   Sometimes this may be simple as talking with clients and showing them the art of de-cluttering.  It may involve using their clients own possessions – just making a few adjustments.

Depending on the needs and current living situation of the home, Casa Bella may do smaller scale staging brining in accent pieces, wall décor, and some small pieces of furniture.

If the home is vacant or gently being used, Casa Bella Realty will stage the living room, dining room, kitchen, owner’s suite and bathrooms.  We will supply all furniture, accent pieces, and wall décor.

Many sellers, buyers and agents think that staging is about bringing in furniture.  While that is definitely a part of it, it can be more about re-organization, deep cleaning and re-purposing the items currently in the home.

Remember that first impressions start at the curb.  Entry points are most important when home staging a house for sale.  This could mean that the sellers should be thinking about curb appeal – perhaps painting the front door, maintaining the yard, planting flowers or shrubs.

It is often hard for potential buyers to see past the owner’s family photos and clutter.  Even a well-maintained home may seem to be too “well lived in” for buyers to see themselves and their own possessions in that space.

Same can be true of a home that is completely empty.  Marketing a home that is vacant can be harder in that the potential buyer cannot see past the empty rooms and envision the possibilities.

Buyers today want a move-in ready home.  Staging gets rid of the clutter and highlights the focal points of a space.

Marketing a staged home becomes a much easier task than one that is clutter or empty.  As we know, most potential buyers are searching the real estate websites and a professionally staged and photographed home will be the one that catches the eye and get the potential buyer through the front door.

THE HISTORY OF CASA BELLA REALTY

Michael Valencia started his real estate career in 2007 when he received his Real Estate Salesperson license. Three years later, he earned his Broker’s license and in 2010 Michael Valencia and Anne Covahey formed Omni Realty. It started as a small full-service, independent real estate brokerage committed to offering all their client’s top-quality representation, whether they were buying or selling a home in Baltimore and the surrounding areas.

Since its inception, Omni Realty had evolved to be one of the most trusted, locally owned real estate brokerages in the Baltimore region. All of their team members were born and raised in Baltimore. Their knowledge of the local markets was unmatched. Clients were assured that all their buying selling needs were expertly negotiated to achieve results that worked in their favor.

As they company grew, Michael realized that by providing an additional service to his clients – that being HOME DESIGN AND STAGING – he could further assist his clients in selling their homes more quickly and for a better price.

During 2017, Casa Bella Design and Staging was started by Michael Valencia and Barbara Todd. Casa Bella Design and Staging assisted Omni Realty with designing and staging over a dozen homes and the results to their clients was evident – homes were selling more quickly and for top dollar.

By the end of 2018, the concept of combining both Omni Realty and Casa Bella Design and Staging into one company emerged. By combing both companies and forming Casa Bella Realty, LLC – we could offer our clients an array of services. By combining the knowledge and expertise of home buying and selling with assisting our clients with design and staging when selling their homes, we were able to make happen what every person selling their homes wants –to sell their home quickly and for the best possible price.

Casa Bella Realty is still locally owned, and their broker and agents are very familiar with the Baltimore real estate market. You will still be working with the broker, Michael Valencia. You will still be receiving professional treatment and will still be assisted with every aspect of the home buying and selling process. But now, in addition, to all of the previous services, you will now have access to one of the most proven ways to sell your home – HOME DESIGN AND STAGING.
